I started this blog after seeing photos of the food I think I am buying and the food that I actually got.

Back in 2003, I was working in Singapore.  I went to a Burger King at International Plaza and saw a poster of a Rendang Burger.  It was juicy looking and covered (smothered) with rendang sauce.  What I actually got was a bit less.  Then there is the Food Court at Plaza by the Park on Bras Basah Road.  The photo of the fishball noodle was incredible.  What I got was a few less fishballs and a smaller bowl of noodles.

This is the first entry.  Marie Callender's on Baldwin Avenue in Arcadia California.  The table advertisement shows a "California Eggs Benedict."  Notice the size of the hash browns.  Notice the size of the eggs and tomato slices relative to the muffin.

Looked great to me so I ordered one with the Hollandaise sauce on the side.  This is what they brought me.

I got about 1/3 to maybe half of the hash browns.  The tomato slices are smaller than the egg.  And the muffin wasn't even toasted.  Which looks more appetizing?  The dish in the table advertisement or what you actually got?
